About us

Independent security introductions, done transparently

We sit between UK clients who need security cover and the companies that deliver it — and we are open about exactly where our role starts and stops.

What we are

ShieldMatch UK connects businesses, organisations and property managers with selected providers for professional security personnel, temporary security systems, installation and monitoring services. Clients submit one secure enquiry; we scope it, invite selected providers to quote privately, and present a single clear quotation. When a client accepts, we introduce the parties, record the agreements and track the job through to completion.

What we are not

We are not a security company, installer or maintenance contractor. We do not employ, supply or supervise security officers, and we do not install, hire out, monitor or maintain security equipment. We are not automatically an SIA Approved Contractor and we never display the official SIA logo. ShieldMatch UK connects clients with selected security providers. Provider approvals and qualifications are reviewed individually. SIA Approved Contractor status applies only where relevant to licensable security activities; technology installers may hold different industry approvals, manufacturer accreditations or electrical qualifications. Where stated, approval should be independently verified on the relevant official register.

How we vet providers

  • Registered company details, trading address and contact verification
  • Public liability and employers' liability insurance evidence
  • Stated accreditations, memberships and approval claims recorded for transparency
  • Declared service capabilities, coverage regions and capacity
  • A signed partner agreement before any opportunity is shared
  • Manual review and explicit approval by a ShieldMatch UK administrator

Vetting is a documentation and review process, not a guarantee of performance. Clients should independently verify any approval claim through the official SIA Approved Contractor Scheme register.

Our principles

Privacy first

Client identity is withheld from providers until acceptance and authorised release.

Fair competition

Providers quote blind. No auction, no visible undercutting.

Plain wording

No implied regulatory status, no borrowed logos, no vague claims.

Accountability

Every release, agreement and status change is written to an audit log.
