How it works

From enquiry to completed job in seven managed steps

A structured process built around one principle: nobody sees your identity until you decide to go ahead.

At a glance

The seven-step ShieldMatch UK process

  1. 1

    Client submits an enquiry

The client provides the service, location, dates and the personnel, equipment or installation required.

  2. 2

    ShieldMatch UK reviews the request

The platform administrator checks the enquiry and removes or protects identifying customer information.

  3. 3

    Selected providers are invited

Suitable providers whose capabilities and coverage match the requirement receive the job details without the customer's private contact details.

  4. 4

    Providers submit private quotations

Invited providers enter their pricing, service information and quotation validity through their provider portal.

  5. 5

    Client reviews and accepts

The client receives suitable quotation options and chooses the preferred provider.

  6. 6

    Agreements and compliance are completed

The required agreements are accepted and provider compliance documents are checked before customer details are released.

  7. 7

    The security service is delivered

The selected security provider delivers the agreed service. The client and provider can follow the job status and communicate securely through their respective portals.

  1. 1

    Client submits an enquiry

The client provides the service, location, dates and the personnel, equipment or installation required.

    • Submit one secure five-step enquiry form.
    • Cover service type, site, schedule, officer or unit numbers, and any licensed-premises or installation requirement.
    • Upload site plans, risk information or photographs if you have them.
    • You receive a reference in the format SM-2026-XXXXXX.
  2. 2

    ShieldMatch UK reviews the request

The platform administrator checks the enquiry and removes or protects identifying customer information.

    • Our team reviews the requirement and contacts you if anything needs clarifying.
    • Identifying details are separated from the operational brief.
    • The enquiry is scoped and priced against realistic UK market rates.
  3. 3

    Selected providers are invited

Suitable providers whose capabilities and coverage match the requirement receive the job details without the customer's private contact details.

    • An anonymised opportunity is issued to selected approved providers.
    • Providers see the service, region, hours and risk profile — never your identity.
    • Each provider submits a private quotation. Providers cannot see one another or one another's pricing.
  4. 4

    Providers submit private quotations

Invited providers enter their pricing, service information and quotation validity through their provider portal.

    • We consolidate responses into a single ShieldMatch UK quotation.
    • Price, service scope, terms and validity are set out clearly.
    • You accept, decline or ask questions from your client portal.
  5. 5

    Client reviews and accepts

The client receives suitable quotation options and chooses the preferred provider.

    • A three-party job confirmation records client, ShieldMatch UK and the selected provider.
    • The provider's partner agreement is already in place.
    • Acceptance is recorded electronically with a typed name, date and audit entry.
  6. 6

    Agreements and compliance are completed

The required agreements are accepted and provider compliance documents are checked before customer details are released.

    • Required agreements are accepted by all parties.
    • Provider compliance documents are checked before customer details are released.
    • Your details are then released to the selected provider by an authorised administrator.
  7. 7

    The security service is delivered

The selected security provider delivers the agreed service. The client and provider can follow the job status and communicate securely through their respective portals.

    • The selected security provider delivers the agreed service.
    • The client and provider can follow the job status through their respective portals.
    • Messaging and documents stay in the portal for the life of the job.
